FAQs for Wade Randolph “The MORE Guy”
Leadership & Productivity Strategist

Q: How long have you been speaking professionally?

I’ve been speaking professionally for the past five years. I have had the pleasure of addressing audiences nationally and internationally.

Q: What is a leadership and productivity strategist?

A leadership and productivity strategist teaches individuals and organizations how to leverage their innate abilities, skills and resources in order to increase productivity and revenue. I often ask my audiences, “Have you used all of your talents, skills and abilities?” In most cases their answer is “No.” Therefore, I recognize that there is another level of growth and performance that each individual can achieve.

Q: How did you become a leadership and productivity strategist?

My introduction to leadership and productivity was made during my high school years while working for Sam Plush, a successful entrepreneur in Richmond, Virginia. Under his guidance, I learned the importance of entrepreneurship, managing others, teamwork, focus, overcoming challenges, respect for the customer, service, goal setting, and so much more.

The lessons I learned while under his guidance helped me orchestrate a successful real estate career throughout the 1990’s. I was consistently recognized by the Local Board of Realtors for outstanding sales and performance, averaging 3.5 million dollars in sales annually.

During the early 2000’s, I had the opportunity to manage various real estate firms within the Richmond area. I trained my agents on various skills such as goal setting, effective communication, sales techniques, negotiating strategies, etc. Under my tutorage most of the company agents became top producers and increased company revenue. Within this timeframe, I developed a passion for training people on improving their performance.

After my management career, I had several individuals and companies retain my services to improve their staff performance. I realized that there was a need I could fill—that of offering my talents and services to a larger audience. Thus, in 2005 Randolph Unlimited, my training and speaking firm was formed.

Q: What other topics do you speak on?

I speak on the topics of motivation, sales, teamwork and communication. I only speak and train on topics that I’m passionate about and have expertise in.

Q: How long is your typical program?

My presentations fall into one of three formats: keynote addresses, half-day seminars and full-day seminars. A keynote address may last anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes. A half-day program would last up to three add a half hours. A full-day program would last for seven hours. In addition to those formats, I have more in-depth professional development programs which are typically 12 weeks long.

Q: What makes you different from most speakers and trainers?

There are 3 major differences.

The first is experience. My experience as a successful manager, salesman and entrepreneur allows me to relate to my audiences. I provide them with in-depth insight on how to overcome the challenges that stop their company from achieving a higher level of performance and profitability.

The second difference is my people skills. I’ve worked with various people within the company structure. This gives me the ability to communicate effectively with people regardless of their position. My certification in the science of human communication known as neuro-linguistic programming allows me to add another dimension the psychology in working with different personality types.

The third difference is my in-depth training as a speaker. I’ve been trained by Les Brown and Craig Valentine, two of the best speakers in the world. Les Brown was recognized in 1990 as one of the top five speakers in the world along with Norman Schwarzkopf, Paul Harvey, Rev. Robert Schuller and Lee Iacocca by Toastmasters International. Craig Valentine is the 1999 Toastmaster World Champion of Public Speaking. He achieved this distinction by out speaking 25,000 contestants from 14 countries to win the title of World Champion.

The skills, strategies and expertise that I have learned from these two renowned speakers allows me to create a relevant message or training program that will inspire the individuals within your organization to achieve a greater level of performance and action.

Q: How would you characterize your style of speaking and training?

My style of speaking and training consists of high content, high involvement and practical wisdom. My ultimate goal is to make my audience T.A.L.L. (Think, Act, Learn, and Listen). My objective is to provide my audience with specific skills that are easy to implement in their work life and personal life.
